The New World Poem
The New World poem written by Fethullah Gülen in 1966, which includes themes such as peace, friendship, love, justice and tolerance, was sung for the first time as a song at the 2006 Istanbul Language Olympics. The Greek version of the song, which was performed in many different languages, was first interpreted by Pigi Koinsep students. A New World song, whose clip was shot by the students and volunteers of the association, was screened at PIGI’s morale night and received great acclaim.
The children of PIGI sing about Peace and conflict-free coexistence and envision a world that is safe, without wars!
A New World
For peace, for friendship,
For tolerance, for happiness,
For joy, for love,
For justice, for mercy,
For children, for our future,
No jealousy, no tears, no fighting, no war
For a new world!
I saw a radiant future in my dream at night
Lights were falling everywhere silently
Seemed harmonious functioning hours
The dark nights have disappeared little by little
Seemed harmonious functioning hours
The dark nights have disappeared little by little
A new world, A new world
They were setting up a new world
A new world, A new world
They were setting up a new world
Everywhere gleaming like skies
They were setting up a new world
Everywhere gleaming like skies
They were setting up a new world
What teens mysterious color on their faces
As i understand this strange and sacred
There were walkers arm in arm with gratitude
Then everyone reached to this way
There were walkers arm in arm with gratitude
Then everyone reached to this way
A new world, A new world
They were setting up a new world
A new world, A new world
They were setting up a new world
Everywhere gleaming like skies
They were setting up a new world
Everywhere gleaming like skies
They were setting up a new world
