YOUR WAY Participants Come Together for a Cleaner Edem Beach

As part of the YOUR WAY – Empowerment and Participation of Young Women with Refugee and Migration Experience project, young people from Germany and Greece came together in Athens to take part in a meaningful environmental activity.

The participants carried out a beach clean-up at Edem Beach, working together to collect litter and help protect the local coastline.

The activity provided an opportunity for young people to turn their values into action while strengthening their sense of environmental responsibility, solidarity and active citizenship.

Bringing together young people from different countries and backgrounds, the activity also created space for communication, cooperation and shared learning. Working towards a common goal demonstrated how the core values of the YOUR WAY project — dialogue, participation, inclusion and empowerment — can be experienced through practical activities in everyday life.

The beach clean-up was more than an environmental activity. It was an opportunity to connect, cooperate, take responsibility and make a positive contribution to the community.

🌱 Through small actions and shared responsibility, young people can play an important role in creating a cleaner, more sustainable and inclusive future.

YOUR WAY – Listen. Share. Connect. Grow.
